Project Afrik is committed to safely supplying products and services economically that meet the requirements and expectations of our clients and guarantee the continuity of the Company. This is achieved by careful planning incorporating continuous improvement to provide a consistent, efficient service.

QHSE policies are communicated to all employees and made available to the public/clients by the HSE Coordinator, who also ensures that the policy is implemented and maintained throughout the organization. In addition, this policy review is conducted annually to ensure policy consistency and applicability to the company’s business activities and dynamic business environment.

Our Standard
Our Standard is to meet all International Quality Standards by developing a system of monitoring all our Projects to ensure compliance with Clients’ Standard requirements and value for their money. Total quality management is a key in all our Projects likewise the safety of residents and our employees.

Fitness for Work Policy
Project Afrik is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace by having a framework for dealing with people in the workplace who are fatigued or affected by alcohol and/or other drugs and pose a risk to themselves and to others and to ensure that all personnel are fit to perform their work tasks at all times.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)

Quality Policy
We develop a working relationship where everyone associated with us pulls together to achieve our commitment, and we continually improve the services we provide. To help us achieve our quality goals, we adhere to the following principles:

    • Aim to do the job correctly first time and prevent problems rather than fix them after they occur. Where mistakes occur we will take steps to prevent them from happening again.

    • Value the properties and personal belongings of our clients and customers.
    • Aim to do our work as quickly as possible and with minimum disruption
    • Promote the culture of continual improvement in all we do.

Health and Safety Policy
We pride ourselves with the high esteem we place on the health and safety of our Employees, Clients, our host Community, and our Projects.

Environmental Policy Statement
Project Afrik recognizes that environmental management is a key component of Project activities, and is committed to protecting the environment in which they conduct their activities. Our commitment to the environment is as important as our commitment to other business objectives to guarantee the continuity of the Company. We are committed to ensuring that any threats of pollution resulting from our various activities are identified and either eliminated or effectively controlled.

Nigerian Content Development (NCD) Policy

It is Project Afrik NCD Policy to comply with the Nigeria Content Directive of the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA on local content, materials, Suppliers and manpower from Nigeria and to make use of services and facilities professional or otherwise which are rendered by Nigerians or companies incorporated in Nigeria, except when after proper research, such services/facilities are not available in Nigeria.

To fully comply with the NCDMB directive, Project Afrik domiciles all engineering activities in-country. Also, all locations of the project management team (PTM), project procurement centers (PPC) are in-country and we carry out in-country maintenance of tools and equipment.

Project Afrik shows commitment by deliberate Addition or creation of value in-county via capacity building of locals, Technology transfer programs, Technology mentorship programs, increasing physical operational presence and investment in Nigeria, creating opportunities in human resources, development of Nigerian contractors and suppliers and implementing various innovation that will increase Nigerian content development in Nigeria.

The enforcement of this policy shall be the responsibility of the Managing Director/Nigerian Content Co-coordinator.
